Our herbal fillings are tested at regular intervals for harmful substances and microbiological purity
So that our toys are as safe as possible for cats, we do not use any small parts in the design and manufacture of our products that could be swallowed and cause harm. Glue, metal, and real or artificial fur are also avoided. We attach great importance to first-class, pollutant-tested raw materials and flawless workmanship.
The Filling Makes All the Difference!
The secret of our cat toys lies within. The stimulating scents of natural herbs have a very special effect on cats. The reactions range from curious sniffing, intense licking to intensive rubbing and high-spirited floor rolling, accompanied by a satisfied purr.
4catsnip – proven recipe for house tigers:
Our specially developed catnip recipe consists of natural catnip with a pinch of Silver Vine. It has a particularly stimulating and play-promoting effect on cats.
Valerian – perks up tired cats:
We only use the purist, natural valerian root. It has a stimulating and revitalising effect on cats.
4cats — HOW IT ALL BEGAN
More than 35 years ago, our journey began with a simple discovery: valerian delights not only humans, but cats too. Originally developed for an animal welfare project, we lovingly created our first cuddly cushion: dried valerian root was wrapped in cosmetic cotton wool and sewn into small fabric pouches. The cats’ obvious delight quickly convinced us to make this special toy available to many more feline friends.
To this day, animal welfare remains close to our hearts. Together with our team and partners, we support animal welfare organisations around Stolberg and in Croatia throughout the year.
Over time, the small workshop became an innovative company.
Since then, our fresh ideas and modern concepts have taken the hearts of cats all over the world by storm.
We are proud to share a story of passion, care and love for cats that is reflected in each of our cat toys.
